This project was undertaken after reading an article about Pigeon photographer Alan Schaller. He's actually a renowned street tog. I liked the idea of creating great images of a common species. That combined with the fact that I already had some mediocre pics of seagulls and the fact that I walk on the beach most days, MS permitting, so have the opportunity to capture more, theoretically at least.
